Touble with Bengali script/s?

If you are using any of the Windows operating systems (e.g. XP, Vista, etc.) then it is better to install complex script. You can download it from here.

Then download a neat and clean Bengali Unicode font. I recommend AdorshoLipi. To install it in Windows, simply copy it in your Fonts folder. The Fonts folder is located in the Windows Control Panel.

Now let's see how to configure your browser.

For Internet Explorer
1) Go to the Menu Bar.
2) Select Tools\Internet Options.
3) Click on the Fonts button, and from there:
3.1) Select Bengali for the Language Script.
3.2) Select AdorshoLipi for the Webpage and Plain text fonts fields.

For Firefox
1) Go to the Menu Bar.
2) Select Tools\Options.
3) Go to the Content tab.
4) Click on the Advanced button; and from the Fonts & Colors section of the popped up window:
4.1) Select Bengali for the Fonts field.
4.2) Select AdorshoLipi for the Serif, Sans-serif, and Monospace fields.

Done!
